Q: Why does a trim cost the same as a cut?

A: A ‘‘trim’’ is priced the same because it takes the same amount of time and skill to cut 1/2 an inch as it does to cut 3 inches.

Please understand, you are paying for our artistry, skill, and years of experience.

Q: Can I get a Price quote on the phone about my hair color or other chemical service?

A: While we are very happy to quote a price on most of our services via yelp or phone call, for a question regarding a more involved color service, it’s best to come in for a consultation and let us see your hair. At that point, we are better prepared to give a more accurate price. It is very hard to give an exact quote when we don’t know what process you will need or how long the service will take. Color is a delicate art, very visual and sometimes a bit complicated so we strongly advise you to call and make an appointment for a consultation. It is totally free and takes about 15 minutes!

Pricing info:

The price list is a starting rate. Some prices will have a slight increase due to amount of product used, time and length of hair.

booking your appointment:

When you book via a text message, please respond back in a timely manner. We understand, life gets hectic but we need to get your info quickly as to secure the correct time slot for you. So, when you call or text to book, have a time frame and date in mind when you contact us. We really appreciate it!

Cancelation policy:

We charge a 50.00 cancelation fee, on all chemical services. So, if you need to reschedule, please allow a 12-24 hrs notice. We understand things happen, but let us know if you can’t make your appointment so we can re-book the time.

No - show clients will require a 50.00 deposit to re - book!

Parking info:

The best option for parking is the Cardiff street garage. They offer 1 hour for free. ( Unfortunately, the city won’t allow us to validate)

There is also plenty of meter parking on Main Street.

RE-DO & REFUND POLICY:

Color and Craft Salon stands by our work , If something isn’t working with your color or cut within 10 days of your service, we will evaluate the situation, and do our best to make you happy with a realistic solution. We strive to make all of our clients happy!

Although, we do not offer a refund or a discount on any hair services. This is due to factors out our control such as:

Fading or a tone issue due to using a product that we don’t recommend for your particular service, fading due to sun or UV exposure and just general life. We want you to love your hair but expectations need to be realistic. Sometimes it takes more than one session to achieve the exact look you desire! Your hair shouldn’t suffer due to over processing or pushing the limits that your stylist considers inappropriate for your hair type. We want you to leave our salon with very healthy hair!
